Why I became a Therapist:
I became a therapist because I wanted to be a supportive presence for people who feel alone or unheard. I believe that sometimes, just having someone to listen can be a powerful catalyst for healing and change. My own experiences and observations have shown me the profound impact therapy can have in fostering self-love and personal growth. I’m passionate about helping clients navigate life’s challenges, including mental health struggles like depression and anxiety. Ultimately, I’m committed to creating a compassionate space where individuals can discover their resilience, find hope in difficult times, and reclaim their sense of self on the path to healing.
Describe your therapeutic approach and what makes it unique?
My approach is integrative, meaning I draw from different approaches such as trauma-focused care, cognitive-behavioral therapy, Gestalt, and solution-focused techniques to best meet my clients’ needs. I emphasize authenticity and transparency in our work, creating a collaborative and nonjudgmental space. I aim to meet clients exactly where they are, offering empathy and curiosity to support their growth at a pace that feels safe. I focus on empowering clients to challenge old patterns and develop new skills while honoring their unique experiences and cultural backgrounds. Healing is a step-by-step process, and I’m committed to walking alongside my clients every step of the way.
