Outside of the therapy room, I'm someone who enjoys journaling, reading, doing yoga, and creating through different forms of art. I'm happy to bring some of these interests into sessions when they feel meaningful or helpful to the clients I work with.
I'm a deeply feeling person and a firstborn child, so I especially connect with people who feel like they carry a lot of responsibility, have to hold everything together, and at the same time experience a lot of feelings beneath the surface. I enjoy helping clients explore those feelings and discover different ways of connecting with and making space for them.

Why I became a Therapist:
I became a therapist because I have always been interested in people — their complexities, their stories, their thoughts, and their feelings. I genuinely enjoy listening to people and learning about what makes them who they are.
I also love continuing to learn about myself as I get older and evolve, and it feels meaningful to be able to do that alongside others. There are no perfect people in this world, but every person has unique qualities and strengths. I believe the world would be a better place if more people could recognize themselves for all that they are, embrace what makes them unique, and use those qualities to connect with others and contribute to the world around them.
I believe that when people take the time to make space for their feelings and go inward, they can develop greater insight and compassion for themselves, and then carry that understanding and compassion into their relationships with others.
Describe your therapeutic approach and what makes it unique?
My therapeutic approach is incredibly collaborative and honest. While I feel confident in the knowledge I've gained through my training and clinical experience, I also deeply value what each client uniquely wants for their life. For example, how they want to approach their challenges, what matters to them, what their values are, and even the pace at which they want to move.
Therapy isn't about clients coming in and me telling them what to do or what I think is best. Instead, clients come in and share what they've been struggling with or what's been on their mind, and we work together to understand what they need and how we can get there.
Depending on the person and what they need in that moment, our sessions might include processing emotions and experiences, structured activities, psychoeducation, practicing coping skills, finding practical solutions, or setting goals. Whatever the work looks like, we're in it together from start to finish.
