Katie has been working in the field of mental health since her volunteering days with San Francisco Suicide Prevention's emergency hotline in 2014-15. From that point on, she decided she wanted to help people full-time. Katie is a graduate of UC Berkeley and holds a Master's in Psychology from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, where she graduated with distinction. She has worked for community clinics, and services for the unhoused, children, and family agencies, and spent 2020 providing therapy at a residential drug and alcohol treatment center.
She values authenticity and collaboration in her psychodynamically-oriented work with teens and adults.
Katie specializes in depression, anxiety, trauma, and substance use issues.
In her spare time, she enjoys creative writing, running, and trying new recipes!
