I prioritize establishing a strong therapeutic relationship based on trust and safety, creating a space where my clients can address their therapeutic goals. With an Anti-Racist and Feminist lens, I strive to understand the ways in which my client’s intersectional identities might influence their lived experiences. I utilize a trauma-informed approach by integrating a unique blend of talk therapy, EMDR, and IFS-informed interventions to help my clients foster new insights and reclaim their sense of joy and wellness.

Why I became a Therapist:
Even when I was five years old, I felt a natural pull to be a “helper” as I was the first to volunteer at school and in community functions. Originally, I thought I wanted to be a teacher, and so my career began in higher education. Although I loved the mentoring aspect of this job, I believed something was missing. I turned to counseling as a second career and remember feeling a sense of being “at home” during the first day of graduate school! I have loved working as a therapist since then, and appreciate that there is ALWAYS more to learn about the human experience!
